The ability to change your habits is a form of metaprogramming.

Using your awesome prefrontal cortex, you can set your intention to send the train of your life down a different track–all you have to do is change your behavior.

The last sentence was of course thick with irony. As mentioned in my last post, the neocortex is only as thick as 6 playing cards stacked on top of each other. How can such a small amount of tissue affect the whole body and dominate much bigger organs in this multi-organ system called the brain?
